Act Two by Tia Bailey
Tia Bailey I was given my first camera at the age of 6. This little 35mm amazed me. It allowed me to see my young world with a “new eye”. However, as time passed, I grew not way from the camera, but towards other forms of art. I sought refuge in collage, altered art and digital design. I thought this was my niche. Then as I began a trip to see my mom, I decided to grab my little point and shoot. The 9 hour drive ended up being over 12 hours as I stopped, explored, and captured all of the beauty that was around me. I knew I needed more. I decided to go back to school and graduated just a year ago. Since then my world has been topsy turvy. I just sold 21 images to a large corporation, am joining other female photographers of Etsy for a book, and working on my own book featuring a book of words and images from my collection.
