As an official member of the Over the Hill gang (that is, women over 50), I find that Mother Nature is doing some serious re-arranging on my body parts. Things that used to be slim are now plump and things that used to be plump (in a good way) are now slim. We won’t even talk about the gravity thing!
One of the areas that she messed with are my lips. I used to have very lush lips, but in the last few years I have definitely noticed them becoming thinner. I thought about using one of the lip plumpers and began looking at various products and reviews on-line. I found that the well-known products had one thing in common โ they stung your lips up to 30 minutes. Some reported that the pain was so bad that it brought them to tears. Eegads โ I’m not into self-induced pain, or any pain for that matter, so I thought I might have to just get used to watching the lips disappear into two horizontal slashes below my nose.
While at Bath and Body Works one day, I noticed they had two brands of lip plumper. I had one of each kind in my hands when a sales associate asked if she could help me. I explained what I needed and asked had she had any feedback from customers or from product training about which might be best. She pointed to the hand that held the Patricia Wexler and said that she felt it was by far the best. She said that it did a great job, had a cumulative effect, and had a lower price. Definitely a winning combination in my book!
I bought the Patricia Wexler and immediately fell in love with it. I told everyone it had become my newest obsession! It really does the job without the pain others cause. There is a slight sting but comes and goes rather quickly.
I highly recommend this product as a cure if you’ve got the Thin Lip Blues!
Available at Bath and Body Works stores or on-line - $16 (sometimes on sale for $5 โ that’s when I stock up!)
