If earth and sky could take you there
Lift you into the atmosphere,
Make you dream,
Teach you to dare,
The world around you…
Make you more aware.
Feel you could reach a place so rare,
The wonders of this hemisphere,
And make you shout, truly declare;
The air,
I swear,
I hear,
With ear,
I feel that God is truly near.
Wanda Talton has relocated back to New Orleans, LA after being away for two years after hurricane Katrina. She currently works for a local non-profit and some of her work can be seen via on-line sites. Her book Inner Seasons will be available for purchase later on this year. Wanda has been writing for many years and poetry is her passion. She is happy to be available to be submitting again to ATG.
