Blue White by Tammy Whisman
White so white it looks blue
glaring a menacing sparkle
with a heavy blanket
of downy light flakes
A breathe of warmth frozen
with the temperature’s plunge
frosting the view out from within
Millions of diamonds glisten undisturbed
waiting to be marred
by impressions and expressions of life
but for now
it’s just too cold to venture out
