just showered

in boxers and a white undershirt
Sexy
tome
He sits on the bed
to put on
his socks
and I rise from the tangle of covers
Warm
from sleep
I lean against him
and take in
his essence
soap and water and cologne
Fresh
and clean
But lingering around us
the scent of
our passion
sweat and me and him
Intoxicating
yet comforting
