onto the road, the side of the road,
the lake, his face, your face,
gets tangled in trees, sweeps
over skin, his back, your thighs,
lingers silently, embraces without
a need to change anything,
fills up the night sky with its breath
without contemplation,
sticks out its long tongue
and plunges it into the quivering
water, the pool of his eyes, your eyes
