Winter Wonderland by Nancy Lee Shrader
A wonderland of ice and snow,
around a crystal lake,
there walks just you and me
and snowmen in our wake.
They seem to converse
in whispered tones,
behind the tall pine trees,
among the rocks and stones.
Why cant I hear them
when they speak to you and me,
with their cold and icy lips,
wondering if they agree.
Snowmen stand at constant guard,
watching near and far,
eyes are tilted way up high,
looking for the star.
A winter wonderland must be,
a very perfect place,
I wonder if the snowmen see,
the Lord God face to face.
