Consuming,
unencumbered
within
a fervid passion
of want
one on one,
two together
a single entity
tension mounting
emotions aroused
panting for breath
heart skips a beat
overwhelming sensations
to the extreme
awash with intense pleasure;
panting for breath
heart racing
overwhelmed by sensations
pleasure filled sighs
tension relaxed
want sated
Tammy Lynn Whisman resides in southern West Virginia. She’s a member of the West Virginia Writers, Inc., and a frequent contributor to several on-line poetry magazines. Recently her work was published, in print, in the fall issue of Trellis Magazine.
