Omnivorous by Ivana Plucinski

Gulping gullets like a gannet with a fish,
Goat grabs a tea towel from a washing line
A cream cake at the café for one delicious wish,
To dine!
In flippers and a face mask rip open tinned sardines
Grab a fork and spear them
Or spoon in cold baked beans
Like a cowboy desperado
Ravines on the range
Forget your table manners
With the ninety-seven Grange
Fill your mouth with anything
To satisfy desire,
Spill hot gravy down your cleavage
To quench your hunger fire
